The politics of the county are largely split between the Republican and Democratic parties. Ozaukee is represented in Congress by Glenn Grothman, who is a Republican, and in the Wisconsin State Assembly by Rob Hutton, also a Republican. At the local level, voters in Ozaukee County elect representatives to serve on the Ozaukee County Board of Supervisors.
