Reasonable Cost of Living

Been in PSL for 3 years now. Have nothing bad to say about it. Depending on what you are looking for, it is a fair to excellent place to live. Cost of living is low and so is the crime rate. Jobs are few and far between and the pay isnt great. However, people are friendly, mannerly and considerate...much more so than the city we came from. Housing took a major hit during the great recession & is just now beginning to rebound...but still very reasonable. Nice homes for $125k to 250k in decent neighborhoods. Lots of winter residents (snowbirds), but almost no tourists. Beaches are great and uncrowded, but only accessable via two mile-long bridges. There is nightlife but streets pretty deserted by 11pm. A nice compromise between a city and a small town.
