Good small town feel, but limited - 10/25/2009
McKinleyville, CA, just north of the college town of Arcata is more of a bedroom community than real town. It is right on the Pacific Ocean, is quiet, and safe. Its proximity to the beach and parks (including parks with redwood trees) makes it wonderful for outdoor activities, as long as you don't mind cloudy weather in winter and donning rain gear.[read more...] |
