Best Quality of Life Imaginable - 9/30/2012
We have been living in Shingletown for 6 years now and after having lived in many different communities my entire life, I find that Shingletown offers the best of everything. We are close to both mountains and valley, just a few short hours from the ocean with plenty of freshwater beaches nearby. Difficult to have quality with the crime rates so - 7/21/2009
My family and I spent a week in Shingletown with friends last summer.
Almost everywhere we went we were accosted by people begging for handouts, even to the point of knocking on our car windows at stop signs.
Every time we went to the grocery store, we were approached by these various dirty, unkempt people.
The owner of a local shop told me that he regrets moving there saying that there is a terrible meth problem and that the authorities do not seem interested in keeping ahead of it.
