However, there are also some concerns about high crime rates and a lack of diversity in the community. Let's take a closer look at what users have to say about living in Greeley.

1. "I've lived in Greeley for over 20 years and it's been a great place to raise a family. The cost of living is very reasonable and there are plenty of job opportunities. The outdoor recreation scene is amazing with easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park and many other hiking and biking trails." - Sarah C.

2. "I moved to Greeley for college and ended up staying after graduation. It's a small town with a big heart. There's always something going on in the downtown area and the people are friendly. However, I do wish there was more diversity in the community." - David L.

3. "Crime rates are a concern in Greeley and it's definitely something to be aware of. I've had a few incidents happen to me personally, but the police response time was quick and there are some safe areas in the city." - Melissa H.

Not impressed - 12/26/2006
I recently moved here from another state and I am throughly disappointed. When people talk about how beautiful CO is, they are not talking about this area. I have had nothing but problems since I got here. There are no jobs here. If you can speak Spanish, you are in good shape. A lot of the jobs require or strongly prefer bi-lingual workers. That is ridiculous. This city houses the worst school district in the state. There is no funding I guess and the kids don't even get there own books. They have to study in class and share there book with other srudents. One bonus is the cheap cost of living, which with the really crappy pay around here it is hard to even pay the cheap rent. This county also has the largest number of foreclosers I heard. I have been here for almost 3 months now and I am still waiting for assistance that I signed up for until we get on our feet and find good paying jobs. There appears to be not much of any help around here for disabled and poor people. Read More
