In the town of Laurel there are two properties taxes, town and country. Outside of town only has county. In town of Laurel there is city water, sewage and trash with a base of 90.00. average for family of four is 150.00 per month. Food costs are high with the beaches 40 to 50 minutes away. Laurel is place I moved to because a house was available at a time when a roof was the most important thing in my life. The people here are snooty for no reason. Jobs a extremely hard to come by. I work 2 towns over in the next state to make enough money to pay bills. The Climate is the only thing this area of the entire country has going for them. Boring olace for anyone who does anything other than play video games. Slow, backwards, closed-minded people run rampant amongst the town.
