In the town of Laurel there are two properties taxes, town and country. Outside of town only has county. In town of Laurel there is city water, sewage and trash with a base of 90.00. average for family of four is 150.00 per month. Food costs are high with the beaches 40 to 50 minutes away. Electric is with Delmarva Power and they have had 70% increase over last three years with more projected.Year round average using A/C in summer is 500.00 per month or more. Family of four would need income of 65,000 to live comfortably.
