Living in Jasper, Georgia - 10/4/2008
If you want a quiet, rural place to retire to and still be a short driving distance to a national transportation hub, then Jasper, Ga. might be the place for you.
Jasper has shopping facilities, schools, doctors, a hospital, community centers and alot of caring people; and is located about 70 miles north of Atlanta, where you can hop on a plane and go just about anywhere in the world.

It rarely gets above 90 degrees in Summer; and the few times it snows in Winter, it is usually just short flurries. Springtime brings out the blossoms of dogwood, mountain laurel, azalea, and rhododendron; and the Fall season is ablaze with spectacular colors.[read more...] |

A great town but getting to expensive - 5/2/2008

We are stuck between being a large city and a small town.[read more...] |
