Great Small Town
- 4/22/2023
I've had a second home in Manistee for almost 3 years. I love it there. The beaches are great, nice downtown and handy to numerous places to hike and sightsee. I am amazed every time I go there with the clear skies and quiet. Compared to Ohio you would never know there were that many stars in the

Manistee is a small town that is very beautiful. Lake Michigan is accessable to all that enjoy the beach, fishing, or beautiful evening sunsets. With a newly built High School. students are all treated as individuals. Offered is a privite Catholic School, teaching students grade school through Senior High. Also, West Shore Community College is 25 miles from Manistee. This is a town that is people friendly, with many Churches. The main theme to Manistee is Victorian, and there are fine buildings in our downtown area, along with our precious Museum, and Theater will speak for it's own beauty. Manistee hosts a yearly Victorian Christmas Parade, that attracts people from near and far. As a life long resident of this town, I love Manistee, and will always hold dear the memories of a great childhood and aldult
