Midland, MI is a small city located in Central Michigan. It is known for its vibrant downtown full of shops and restaurants, as well as various family-friendly attractions. There are several parks located throughout the city, providing plenty of outdoor activities for residents and visitors alike. Additionally, Midland is home to Dow Chemical, one of the world's largest chemical companies. Overall, Midland has a lot to offer its residents and visitors alike.

Tourists often comment on how clean the city is, how friendly the locals are and how much there is to do in such a small town. They also appreciate all of the amenities that Downtown Midland offers; with numerous restaurants and shops, it's easy to find something interesting to explore. Bedroom community - work for Dow Chemical - 1/24/2006
If you don't work for the Dow Chemical Corporation, you will probably work in the service industry (restaurant worker, teacher, etc.). You're nobody if you don't work at Dow Chemical. There's hardly any crime, at least it's not reported. The population seems to be around 93% Caucasian, 2% Black and 5% Asian (that's just a guess from living here for 30 years). The highest per capita Ph.D. population because they need educated people to work as Chemists and Executives at Dow. Need I say more? Oh, wait, one more thing...we have a VERY adorable foot bridge that connects where three rivers meet. It's call the Tridge because it's a bridge with three legs. Go online to get an image of it. It's very cute. Home of Northwood University which is a fabulous business school. If you're into that kind of thing. Weather? Snowy, humid and cold.
