I agree... - 1/26/2006
I have lived in Kansas City for over three years... I agree with the previous writers. This city is lame, the winters are ridiculously miserable, and I'm on this website to find a more enjoyable place to live. The only reasons to live in K.C. are lucrative business opportunities, or your wife won't be happy away from her Read More

Zzzzzzz... - 12/22/2005
This place is incredibly BORING. There are restaurants, bars, and river boat casinos to go to but trust me, these things get old very quick. "Downtown" is a ghost town after 6pm, and heck, even during lunch hour you would be hard pressed to actually see people walking down the street. Everyone says this is a great place to raise your kids....sure, if you want them to think the Lake Of The Ozarks is an actual beach and getting drunk in Westport is "fun" when they grow up. Why would I spend my money in another bar when I can just steal someone else's as they come out of Read More

Not a nice place - 12/18/2005
Kansas City is boring and more boring. There is to much crime here and the city is so far behind other cities. It has a lot of places for dining and sociallizing. The night life is okay, I think Saint Louis night life is better. When u are an African American here in Kansas City u get harrassed in certain parts of the city. The plaza, westport, and some parts of downtown. It get's cold in the winter and hot in the summer. We have the four seasons! Our downtown or lack there of needs some changes. They are trying to change the downtown area with this new arena they are building hopefully they can get a basketball team. The people will not support them which is why the Kings left. This is a football town and they don't wanna get the football stadium fixed to keep the chiefs here. We don't have a mall or grocery stores downtown. It is way behind other big cities that have a population of this size. I recommend u come here for a visit see how u like it then decide if this is Read More
