pretty nice for a small town - 5/22/2012
If you enjoy small Midwestern towns or cities, Sylvania, Ohio, could fill the bill. It has a noteworthy school system, little-to-average traffic, and a great library. Great school system - 9/5/2011
I've lived in Sylvania for the majority of my life. The school system is top notch and one of the few areas where the school levy always seems to pass. If you're looking to raise a family this area is highly recommended.[read more...] |

City Government - 9/28/2009
The city coucil and mayor are out of touch with the residents. They go out of their way to make things difficult. They ramdomly ticket some people multiple times than ignore everyone else who violates the rules. The tax department harass people who pay there taxes over petty issues and they have issues with trash removal. But if you like places who waste tax revenue on temporary shelters for railroad box car when their unemployment rate is between 12-15% and jobs in the are decreasing than this is a great place to live and enjoy all of the partks and summing pool hopefully you are independanlly wealthy because if you work a lot to pay your taxes you will not be able to enjoy what your tax dollars are paying for.[read more...] |
