"it rains all the time" - 8/30/2009
OK. I just have to say, yes, it rains in the Winter quite a bit, and there are some wild wind/rain storms, but the Summers are MAGNIFICENT, gorgeous, SUNNY, COOL and DRY. I had friends visiting from Arizona last week, and they thought they went to heaven. They could not believe we had no air conditioning, and no NEED for air conditioning![read more...] |

Aberdeen is beautiful! - 7/17/2006
I lived in Southern California most of my life and I wouldn't trade living there with all the smog and cars and people for anything. Aberdeen is on the harbor, there many parks and lakes and if you want to visit a rainforest or the ocean they are just a short trip out of town. The town is renovating it's downtown area while keeping it's charm. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes visited here a few months ago and the town went wild. When asked what she thought of little 'ol Aberdeen, Katie replied "It's beautiful". When you have deer walking through your neighborhood it doesn't get better than that![read more...] |
