In the Mist of it all

Honestly if you are looking for a suburb between two big cities: ARLINGTON, TX IS PERFECT. Being in my late 20's: there is PLENTY to do East and West of Arlington. Yes to the posting below, it's not like San Fran w/ cute little hole in the wall places and yes there are chains everywhere (that's why everyone is bigger in tx) but if you know where to go, there are some really quaint places to eat.
As far as attractions: This is FAMILY CENTRAL OF AMERICA. You have Hurrican Harbor (aquatics park), SIX FLAGS over Texas (roller coasters and shows), Ball Park in Arlington (Texas Rangers Baseball) and the new DALLAS COWBOY STATIUM (ok everyone knows who the dallas cowboys are) What more could you ask for - there are spa's for the ladies, Games and sports bars for the men, theme parks for the kids, and not to mention Dallas is 15 min East and Fort Worth is 12 min West.
In Dallas you have practically Everything - uptown, downtown, Greenville Ave the posh way of living.
In Ft. Worth, your stock yards, historic, laid back way of Texan Living with Unique Bars and Nighlife - you soon will be occupied for months.
In all Arlington, is a great place to live - it's surrounded by the H-E-B, Grand Prairie, Mansfeild, and Fort Worth - but if your wanting to settle with family, it's a great get-a-way from Dallas-Ft.Worth. And if you are a young striving couple or single person - great place to relax and get both tastes of the different lifestyles both Dallas and Ft. Worth have to offer.
