Ive lived in Worcester and Bridgeport. Worcester nis in no way worse than bridgeport, this being said. I love Bridgeport but its not for everyone. I would assume it would be a tough place to live if you dont have street smarts. I grew up in waterbury and spent time in harlem among other cities the majority of my life. This being said, I have met many newcomers to bport that are afraid to get out of there car in some areas. I don't have a problem in the least but for some this may be a problem. Bridgport has great restaurants and is close to fairfield, another bar and restaurant hot spot. Crime is prevelant in bport but if your smart you will be unaffected. I will always hold a soft spot in one of the most hated cities. it is way underated and people misconstrue what the city is all about.
