Review of Lakewood, Colorado

Edgewater is the Colorado Mayberry
Star Rating - 1/25/2010
Edgewater is a very small suburb west of Denver. I think its only a square mile. Its an oasis, a clean and safe little town, It's like Mayberry here, it has a little tiny Mayberry library and it's own little Mayberry police station where the policeman sits in a rocking chair out front! It's one the places where you don't have to lock your front door. It's full of beautiful little homes with beautiful yards. the town sits on the edge of Sloans Lake (where I imagine its name comes from) I love living here, it's a clean and quiet. I moved here from California, I've lived here for the last 10 years and I have had zero problems. I wouldn't live anywhere else. I think it is the perfect place to raise your children. Big city crime is almost non existent, the people are super friendly, and my family feels very safe here.
