I’m 38 years old and I have been a life long resident of North Attleboro MA. I rarely comment on these type of things but I just want to say that I completely disagree that North Attleboro is basically the same as Attleboro, just more pricey. They are right next to each other, but they are so different that it’s like two different worlds. Attleboro has a much higher crime rate, unemployment rate, the schools in Attleboro don’t even compare in every way to the ones in North, Attleboro has a lot of homeless people, and North Attleboro is a much more cleaner town, which I think the community takes pride in. However, it is more expensive. I lived in Attleboro for a couple years, when I was younger and there’s a couple benefits. If you’re commuting, Attleboro has a train station and they have recently cleaned it up, with a nice bike path and green grass. So I’m not against Attleboro in any way, but I wanted to say this in case anyone is trying to determine if they want to move here etc. I hope that I could help anyone looking for information.
