Great place if your in tech or a yuppie

A city that has prided itself on individualism has sold out to corporate greed. Amazon, Microsoft, Google and other tech giants have changed this town to something else. It's just Techies (mostly Brogrammers), people with money and yuppies now. There still is some middle class, but they are struggling and likely don't live in Seattle proper anymore. COL is high, people can be cold to non-natives, and weather is not sunny for more than half the year. Come summer time, Seattle is beautiful, and many things to do and sights to see.

Yeah and with NO RENT CONTROL, the predators are having a field day. I know some poor folks that are working class for these high rise apartments. Their rent jumped $500 a month. Yes that's right, $500 per month. Goodbye working class. If you stay in Seattle and aren't making 6 figures for each part of a couple, then you had better pack your bags. Also I have seen the MOST ABUSIVE PRACTICES with these rental agencies. Literally have seen made up charges in excess of several thousands of dollars for people. It's maniacal and wicked. It's a shame that only the very wealthy can enjoy this city.
