31 year resident and I recommend Murrieta highly

I’ve lived in Murrieta since 1989 when I was 5 years old. I have resided here for the vast majority of my life and I agree with the 8.5/10 score that it has on this site. All things considered, if you are going to live in California, Murrieta is a great place to live and raise a family especially compared to other cities in the state. I’d prefer to be in a state with better government representatives and lower taxes/cost of living but Murrieta (and surrounding areas) is one of the nicest places to live that doesn’t cost an outrageous amount. Low crime, good people, new(ish)/well maintained
roads/infrastructure and commercial/residential properties, employment opportunities, good public schools, family oriented community with lots of parks and fields for sports, good weather (but hot in summer), friendly and relatively diverse people, within 100 miles of just about anything you can think of to do, etc.
