Review of Moses Lake, Washington

The Mormon church rules the town
Star Rating - 1/28/2008
I have grown up in Moses Lake and have witnessed how wrong it is that the Mormon Church has their say in EVERYTHING that goes on in the town. School dances, play productions, the dance team, and sports, have all been changed or have even been pushed out by constant pressure of the church! If you are not of the Mormon religion and want to live in Moses Lake, I would seriously think about if you want to be surrounded by loud and very opinionated people who think they know what the best and moral thing is for every citizen of the town. It is only getting worse, and it won’t be long before they are involved in every council and group in town.

Thank you for this. Yours and other comments about this problem (yes, I'm saying that religious influence with Govt/educational/biz issues is a problem. Locals who read this should be combating against the church(es) for the well being of your community.) have helped me to make an educated decision on relocating my family and business to the area.
