I have lived between Cadillac, Traverse City and Lake Ann for the last 20 years. It was so very friendly, country, peaceful way back then. Now traffic is like Milwaukee, businesses have become big city rude, parking is stress-full. Friendly businesses are Home Depot, Sams Club, McGough, Traverse Dental Associates is steller. Munson MC eats nurses (very hard on them, so please appreciate those who serve you). It is a good hospital though. Sleeping Bear Dunes is wonderful and deserves your best respect and is there for your enjoyment. MacLain's is the best place to repair and purchase a bike. If you truly want to live in this area and enjoy it (SLOW DOWN). Take your foot off the gas and enjoy the scenery. Trash your car not the roadside. When yo see a bicycle riding on the blacktop it might be an old one eyed combat vet who is 68 years old trying to get is exercise, give him some space and slow down when you pass.
