I just saw this and I can help you with the information you seek on Florence Oregon. I’ve lived here for 10 years as it is a great retirement community and I have been taking care of my parents the whole time. I volunteer my time is there’s many opportunities in need here. We are on the ocean and we have many wonderful parks in 14 Lakes nearby. We are 63 miles west of Eugene Oregon. Our water quality is excellent. We have a wonderful hospital and Senior Center and Elks club. Fresh fish here is abundant and many wonderful restaurants. Oh, downtown is quite charming and every year we have a rhododendron festival in May which drives people from all over the state. Our temperatures are mild in the winter and not too hot in the summer which we love people have a great sense of community here and many people volunteer their time. I myself drive for the Friends of Florence where we take cancer patients to Eugene for their daily treatments at no cost to them. Housing prices go as low as 350,000 and we have many luxury homes as well.
