I am old Bens wife. I have lived in 1000 Oaks for for 47 years. I have seen alot of change. Unfortunately alot of the change wasn't for the better. Even though all my children have lived here all there lives. They haven't met one person here worth dating. Let alone marrying. A matter of fact my husband isn't from this state. I never met anyone that lived here, worth dating either. And the school system has not improved. Has gotten worse over the years. two out of four of my children were told they needed to be on ADD medication for smiling and being too happy. I had to fight the public school system for years. Most of things they tried to teach them were their own ideas and agendas. Not about reading, writing, or math. But what to do to fit in with others. Even if following the crowd wasn't the right thing to do. This was twenty years ago. It happened to all four of my kids growing up. I am not impressed with the public school system here at all.
