in deference to what has be said about Nashville/Metro schools, I must chime in and comment.
Metro has one of the poorest graduation percentages in comparison to other districts. While a lot of money may be spent on education... not very good results. High drop out rate, poor test scores, and a sense of gloom in the teaching ranks. The city got rid of the last head administrator.
Many people with resources (money) move to a neighboring county or enrolls their kids in Private schools. the Metro school district is a mess.
