Review of Prescott, Arizona

Thinking of moving to Prescott Arizona?
Star Rating - 9/7/2014
I was in that boat a lil' over 5 years ago & moving here was one of the best decisions of my life! Coming from California, I immediately felt Prescott's down-home, hey y'all feeling. From the courthouse in the heart of town to the historic Victorians, out into the mountain pine communities & down through the frontier with horse properties & small farms there's a vibe of community, a 'common-unity'. I see our nation's Golden Rule in effect.
I have kids who are still kids; they get to be their age. The weather's always good....Monsoon's are awesome this time of year! Blue skies year round and stars that touch the earth & stretch to forever. Prescott has a 'Night Sky Ordinance' so our slice of heaven will never outshine the night sky & suck up our solar system.
I just think Prescott & the surrounding towns are the bee's knee's :) Come on over & check it out! I'll personally give you the tour & introduce y'all to the neighborhood :)

Life in Prescott is grand... for Californians who cashed out and crashed our tiny, wonderfully weird party. You killed a great place.

Well who are you and how do I find you for this personal tour?

Delightful review Cami, sounds like what I might be looking for. I have heard you should rent a place for 6 months first before moving there. So this may be my "bee's knee's" too. Thanks

WOW! I'm surprised at the drastic difference in opinions of this city. Matt, In Unbelief, a carol all hate this place. And yet you and a few others seems to think it's paradise vs NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET. My new husband and I are retired, He's built homes in Southern AZ and trying to sell a 2100 sq ft, 9 acre home, In Benson as he knows I wish to move further north near family and friends. We, I'm new to AZ and want to be a bit closer to treeline and away from the intense heat in Benson and closer to a bit larger city. WE do want to have a few acres so I'm in search of a city in central AZ. A friend, now in Texas was through Prescott some years back and he said it was miserably hot there so I'm wondering after all these different reviews. I also want a conservative town with people that are U.S. constitution supporters and pro-gun, as I still like to hunt. So, I may have to contact the local Calvary Chapel, as I've attended them here in So Calif, and get some serious reviews. Or I may contact you for more informatin. Thank you
