9/20/2021As has already been said, most Presconians are conservative. We believe in law and order, patriotism, the second amendment, etc. We've recently moved from California from a conservative city much like Prescott. We are right at home here. Your comments on you describe about half of the country are hate-filled and ignorant. We are Trump supporters and are pro-vaccine for most everyone, but we don't impose our views on others who may have anti-bodies or another medical reason for not getting the vaccine. Speaking of Trump, after nine months of the Biden catastrophe (Afghanistan, border, inflation, etc), we need President Trump or someone like him to lead us back to the greatness of this country. Remember, low inflation, high employment, great economy, etc.

9/11/2021Yes, there is music here. We have a downtown with a courthouse area and yard where bands and singers perform. Also restaurants/saloons in Whiskey Row. The weather is fabulous, not too hot in the summer, and cool in the winter with usually some snow but it varies. We are 5300 in altitude with lakes, forests, mountains. If you like hiking, fishing, and hunting, or just the great outdoors, you will love it here. Hope you give it a try.

9/11/2021I think you would love Prescott. No humidity (usually except maybe a short time in the monsoon season but usually dry), a great downtown (Whiskey Row), beautiful scenery, lakes, mountains, and forests. Yes, there is music. They have bands and singers playing in the courthouse area in downtown in the summer and lots of good quality restaurants/bars. I hope you make the trip and check this play out.

Conservative Prescott -
9/11/2021My wife and I both retired from California. I retired from a law enforcement career and my wife was a teacher. We are both very conservative, I more than my wife. We love the conservative culture here and feel right at home. Conservative people tend to believe in freedom, limited government, and Judeo Christian beliefs. They are usually not drug abusers, criminals, or homeless. Although some Presconians are first put off when they hear we are from California, most are friendly and tolerant of all people. But we see what's happened in California and other liberal states and don't want that to happen here. If you have a dislike for conservative people, then please move to another area. I have to wonder why you did not know the conservative culture of Prescott before moving here.
