Affordable place to raise children

I grew up and had my children in Simi Valley, CA. I moved to Clarksville 6 years ago because of the cost of housing in Simi. I was renting a 2 bdm 2 bath apt. for $1050.00 a month. I cant image what it would be today. I bought a house in Clarksville with a big yard and 3 bdm 2 baths and pay $800.00 per month. Simi is a great place to live and raise your children if you have a two parent family and you devote most of your time to your jobs and the freeways!
