There is a reason Fargo is growing rapidly

I have lived in Fargo for 7 years and there is a reason it's one of the fastest growing cities. Great economy, underrated entertainment scene, affordable housing, low crime (although up slightly with population boom) and a surprisingly diverse & young population with 3 - four year colleges. Winter sucks from Dec-Feb but summers are hot and have 18 hours of daylight. Only an hour from the Minnesota lakes area.
Entertainment: One of the largest concert promoters in the world is based out of Fargo (Jade Presents). Good mix of giant stadiums like the Fargodome 25k, medium arenas and tons of smaller clubs. Everything from The Rolling Stones to The White Stripes in a small club have played here.
Downtown is very cool but may be experiencing a little gentrification. It has a public square on Broadway that has an ice skating rink in the winter and a stage for summer events
Jobs. Its the regional medical center with Essentia and Sanford having one of the largest medical centers in the region. Microsoft has one of the largest campuses in the nation. Aldeveron is a DNA Gene therapy company based out of Fargo. Amazon is opening a giant distribution center spring 2021. Bobcat has their corporate office in Fargo. Scheels is also based out of Fargo and has one of the largest sporting good stores here.
Overall if you are used to Midwest winters, it's no different than Minnesota and Wisconsin. If your coming from Florida, you would hate all Northern states in the winter
