If you're straight, from an area where some progressive values exist and just want a safe, clean, modern, entertaining area to raise a family...and you landed here in Jacksonville? You better get down on your knees and find out why God HATES you! Jax is exactly the opposite of anything good, bright, healthy and progressive. Downtown is super-nasty. The city does stupid things such as build a multi-million dollar library so street urchins can pan handle and harrass what few people tranverse. Then they build a multi-million dollar courthouse, with the Mayor's cronies, out of town contractors, to try and convict some of the street scum. All-in-all, Jacksonville, the physical city, could be San Antonio, Portland, Orlando or Bolder. It's THE PEOPLE--the ignorant, REDNECK, low-ambition, Confederacy-lovin', KKK-minded social retards which ruin Jacksonville. There is NO chance for Jacksonville to ever exceed its hundred year old inbred culture. It is the perfect example of an all red city. If you're gay and live in Jax, you either have the old slave to master mentality, have been psychologically damaged by family and church, convinced if you move you'll "go to hell" or you just aren't paying attention!
The current soon Mayor Elect OPENLY advocates bombing abortion clinics and forcing gays to register. The wages in Jax are exceedingly low, even compared to most cities in Georgia! Now that is sad!! It's a matter of statistical facts. You might want to argue with me about "my opinion" but do yourself the favor and LOOK at the statistical facts: last in education, second to last in wages, most angry city in Florida, most unhappy city in Florida...and Florida ain't all that! So, you're getting the worst of the worst and only 40 miles from Palatka, the nation's capital city for incest! Run...
