Review of Payson, Arizona

Living in Payson
Star Rating - 8/22/2006
Payson has tradionally been a pass through town for folks from Phoenix going to the rim country. Now developers have Payson on the radar screen and are trying to make a fast buck before moving on by creating subdivisions on any public land they can find. There is one big problem however. Payson does not have the water to support growth. People moving here should realize that if additional water resources are not found, this town has the potential to become a ghost town like so many in the West. Even is water is found, the cost will be considerable. It is expected that the monthly charge within a few years will be $50/mo and that is a conservative estimate.
