A charming quiet community nestled on the shores of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Founded during the construction of the Hoover Dam during the 1930's the area is home to many historical homes and buildings from that era, as well as million dollar lake view homes. Known as a non-gaming, low crime, bed-room community to the well known Las Vegas area the city has sought to protect is way of life by instituting low-growth policies while maintaning a progressive outlook for its retiree and family residents.
While remaining one of the American Southwest's best kept secrets for living, the word on this little gem of a town is slowly getting around.
