What a shame about Donna's experience in Pasadena! I have many friends in Pasadena, as I lived there for 15 years. Their houses are wonderful and most cost them well under $500k and in many cases under $400k! There's a ton to do without ever having to go outside of Pasadena - over 60 movie screens (in theaters), several playhouses, comedy clubs, nature trails for hiking, festivals, a vibrant Old Town, colleges and universities to take classes, meetup.com groups, etc. Climate? Summer temps are in the 80s and 90s except for an occasional heat wave and always dry. Check out the Rose Bowl Parade each year ... everyone in short sleeves! If Donna was bored and hot here, she must simply be a negative person used to perhaps NYC, London, or Paris. Wow!
