Nice area, but too expensive

Good weather, schools and health care, but housing costs are too high for an area with an ~$50k/yr median income. It is correcting itself, but it will be several more years; think 2013. Be wise and rent until the Alt-A and Option-ARM mortgage resets have done their damage.
