If you look at the stats for crime, its not bad. I can get on the freeway in 3 minutes, ride my bike 8 miles to the beach in less than 30 minutes and have done so as many times as every day and never been in a dangerous situation. I can ride my motorcycle to Crystal lake in the azuza mountains in an hour. Snowboard in 2 hours. Drive to lax in 45 minutes, John wayne in 30 minutes, and Long beach airport which is the best airport in 20 minutes. I agree its a bit souless but its safe and quiet. Live in Belmont hights for a year, can't compare. I used to live in Laguna Hills in the 80s, can not compare to westminster for ease of living. Not even close. Ride you bike to the beach from Laguna hills... I've done it many times. Even with the big bike lanes, not that safe when you enter Eltoro or Laguna canyon. I currently doa 35 mile loop from newport through irvine and down that canyon, its busy and a bit nuts....lol
