re: I agree that Portland is a great place - 8/11/ CAVEAT EMPTOR: Your impression results from your visit during the 11 to 14 week period in the summer when it is not perpetually overcast and it is gorgeous here. Having lived here all my life, I can assure you, what you saw is NOT what it is like to live here for the nine to ten months when you can't even see your own shadow.
