Welcome To Collinwood Movie -
10/4/2014If you really want to see and feel the heart of Cleveland, Ohio, please watch "Welcome to Collinwood".. NONE of those actors or actresses are from Cleveland, however, you couldnt convince that they arent, if I didnt know they werent.. Superb acting..SO SO SO VERY Cleveland, Ohio.. Right down to Carmilla, (Jennifer Esposito), and Basil (Andrew Davoli)...Cosimo, ALL the actors...Michael Jeter, Sam Rockwell..Patricia Clarkson..William Macy..Right down to a funeral home, in Garfield Heights. The first time I saw it, I wasnt too impressed.. Then I watched it again and again.. I found the DVD at a drug store... Its one of my favorite movies. Its a hoot. George Clooney is in it too, in a wheel chair, for all of you CLOONEY lovers. :) Ive watched it so many times, I feel like I know all those people/actors...

9/23/2014Rochester, NY and esp. the east side suburbs, have some of the most beautiful architectural design, you will every find. The people are not overly friendly, like the midwest, but thats because they are back east. This is a very classy, and classic city. Lots of old money here. Many educated people, and your basic white collar city. Esp. white collar, on the east side burbs, and blue collar on the west side burbs. I lived in Fairport, NY. Fairy tale.. back in time, white collar environment, with people who obey the rules. Wonderful city for families..Need some big $$$$$$, though.. High taxes, but cheap housing in the city of Rochester.

9/5/2014First off, let me say, I love Cleveland.. There is a bonding with Clevelanders, Ive never seen, anyplace else, and Ive lived all over the country.. One hand really does, wash the other, there.. Maybe its because they always seem to get such a bad rap, there is a bonding with people you dont even know, just because you are all in the same city. Ive never felt unsafe there, despite the crime rate. The east side suburbs, Ive never been impressed with, but the west side suburbs, are like going back in time. People are caring, considerate, educated, let you out in traffic, and dont have cracked windshields and missing mufflers. People are good natured, and nice. They are friendly, but NOT imposing as in other smaller Ohio towns. Cleveland is EASY to live in and pretty hassle free. Its not a chore to open a bank account, get your gas turned on, etc..If you are thinking on every moving to the Midwest, I hope that you will consider the Cleveland, Ohio area. There is a place for EVERYONE here, regardless of your race, religion or gender..If I had to rate Cleveland and the near communities,, from one to 10, Id give her a 10, and 2 thumbs up. 7/19/2014one part you missed, Chris. Dont forget crap neighbors, although they have 2 lots and a back yard, decide to party on their porch til 3-4 AM..Take the party crap INSIDE at 10 PM.. Then, when you call the police, (in which they have no regard for), they pull the white trash/redneck attitude, as if you did something wrong, while they wake you up and keep you up.. I love my house, but I have a real scumbag across the street, with no consideration for anyone else, and his new country bumpkin county girlfriend with a big mouth, doesnt say much about him. You'll never get any class to stay, much less move here, as long as you excuse the trash, and allow them to be a PITA, to others.
