I just moved to Oregon from Fremont, CA where housing became unaffordable. I'm a 2nd generation S.F. east bay person, who attended and worked at U.C. Berkeley and have enjoyed spending time in the Santa Cruz mountains since childhood. Corvallis has qualities that favorably remind me of the S.F. Bay Area of my youth, before it became polluted by industrial and population explosions. Since retirement, I'm an avid photographer: landscapes, flower macros, people; living in Corvallis is like a dream come true for me--financially, aesthetically, etc. & etc.
