I've lived here since a child and watched this neighborhood grow up to be an extraordinary place to live, less than 10 miles from our nations Capitol. Falls Church City has everything you need within a 2 block walking radius, from essentials to culture, enjoy an active sports / community center, farmers market, entertainment and shopping, along with local public transportation, it is situated between 2 metro stops.
I have played USTA tennis competitively, and enjoy inviting friends to play on summer evenings, under lights on newly surfaced courts, through a complimentary reservation system at the community center. It's a short 5 minute walk past the Library, through Cherry Hill Park to the courts.
Outside of the basics, schools are remarkable, boasting the highest ranking test scores, with A.I. Awards, for their robot designs at George Mason High School. The neighbors are well educated, socially adept and delightful company.
Purchasing real estate here is a great investment, as it's a highly desirable central location, creating appreciation from day one. The city management maintains an attractive community, always inclusive and safe, while being quiet and peaceful. All this while being close to the action of downtown Washington, D.C. or Tysons Corner. If there weren't so many professionals living here, you would think it was a resort!
