Love this place, Really friendy folks :-) -
9/15/2019Moved here from Montana in November of 2015... stayed in my camper in one of the local RV parks , nice folks run it but it was Expensive.. Searched for a home and found one in what most Locals call the worst place in town. I have had NO Troubles at all.. Neighbors are OK Some are very good friends.. Yup its a bit trashy in spots, I call it Sleez Bag Acres, its Named " Silver Lake Estates" theres No silver, No Lakes and NO estates LOL.. but i got a nice place for cheep and i love it.. Had No troubles with Police as some have said, I drove around for 1.5 yrs here with Expired plates,, All the places i shop folks are VERY friendly , you need to have a positive attitude to come off well with peeps anywhere.. Im retired so i dont know the Job market.. But im very happy here when the Flat landers from Phoenix go home... they tripple the Population in summer and drive like fools... Still, its a very nice place to live and Never gets -40F :-)
