9/9/2006Come back to Phoenix. We live in Chandler. We have lived here of and on since 1984. Boy! had it changed. You can take over our lease on a 2bd/2bth patio home ($975) and we'll rent your place. We can be packed and ready to go tomorrow. Give me the green of Oregon any day over this hot hell hole!!

7/6/2006Paula, it sounds like you are talking about the whole country. Drugs, no health insurance, high taxes (one way or the other)employment is substandard, and housing!! Wow, it is out of sight everywhere. I live in Phoenix AZ. at least you don't have shootings every day and three hour commutes in 110* heat. Be thankful for the rain and the green you have. We are still moving to the Medford area as soon as possible. Can some one else tell me what it is like in Medford?

7/5/2006Chandler/Phoenix is a nice place to live. Good family place. Has good points and bad points (mainly the summer heat). But, if you have lived in Atlanta, Dallas, or Chicago this is not so bad. We are Boomers looking for a nice place where Cost of Living and crime are not so bad. Have any ideas?
