Valdosta is an OK city. Just moved here, and the first thing I noticed was that there was a church or bank on almost every corner. Not much of a night-life here. Expect to pay expensive rates for apts. There are a lot of fast food joints, and dollar stores. It's a good place if you love football. It's close to FL. Most of the people I've encountered were nice. The local university is really popular here. Valdosta has some really beautiful homes out 'in the country' area. Overall, a nice city.
