7/4/2013Jupiter, FL – the exclamation point at the end of Palm Beach county! Beautiful natural area – parks, beaches, ICW, bike lanes, and art festivals from January through early May. It's a wonderful place to vacation, but not the place to live.
The town offers no community. It exists for visitors, the wealthy absentee property owners who come to their $2-3,000,000 McMansion properties during “the Season” to play golf and get away from the cold. They bring attitude...ATTITUDE.
If you want to be part of a community and live among friendly neighbors, Jupiter is NOT for you. There are too many empty houses that are s-o-m-e-t-i-m-e-s occupied by snowbirds who aren't involved with the community.
Rent a place for a while before you move here permanently and experience the emptiness for yourself.
