Born and raised in Evansville, Indiana. Baker Grade school, Central High, and Evansville College; BS in Mechanical Engineering and Commissioned 2nd Lt, USAF via ROTC. USAF pilot training in 1965, followed by 20 year career including over 150 combat missions in Vietnam, flying B-52 Aircraft. Duty stations in Texas, California, Florida, Ohio, New Mexico, Korea, Guam, and Georgia. Retired from active duty in 1986, beginning current Federal Civil Service career in engineering at Robins AFB, Georgia. Currently working as Chief Engineer, Automatic Test Systems.
Married to former Janet Floyd, also of Evansville, high school sweetheart. Two grown children, Matthew and Michael. Three grandkids from Michael: Jacob, Michelle, and Samuel.
