I lived there 30 years ago I am Hispanic and it was safe and beautiful and bible thumping had nothin to do with it what ruined it today is uneducated people such as your self with an attitude of hating what is good uneducated morons who are in gangs and who play the pity party feel sorry for me I'm a minority. Get over yourself Bakersfield maws a safe beautiful place to live unfortunately people such as yourself ruined it
