Living in Chattanoga.....? -
10/7/2012Hi, we are a family of 5 recently moved from the worst place in the world, and I really find Chattanooga especially the East Brainerd area a wonderful place to live, beautiful views, nice city, jobs, friendly people, places to enjoy nature, all the services, good schools, public transportation, shopping, religion, activities; For one thing I could not help but notice that the City of Chattanooga encourages all kinds of family oriented activities...we can have it all! The only negative point I can see and I consider really inconvenient is the fact that two Interstates 75 and 24 run through much of the city which will make commuting very unsafe! Make sure you live as close as possible to your work place to the point of negotiating your priorities. Prices in general do not seem to be out of range, of course not everything is perfect, but what place is it?
I have lived in 2 countries, 6 different states and a lot of cities (big and small) in the last 10 years, I really think that If you are looking to race your family in a nice, relatively safe and friendly environment and you are tire of urban jungles and traffic jams Chattanooga is the place!
