10/8/2012Bill, due to work and life as a Navy brat I've lived in five states and four towns in Missouri (including Lebanon from 2008-2010). Lebanon was the second worst city I've ever lived in (next to Houston, TX). For a small town, the crime is incredible and many townspeople are for whatever reason, very rude. I'd say it' because it's a small country town, but I now live in a Missouri town even smaller (Mt. Vernon)and it's 100% better...the people are amazingly friendly, the drug problem seems considerably less and I like it so much we bought our first home here. I'm happy to have escaped Lebanon and would not recommend it to anybody looking to buy a home. That's just the simple truth, not trying to attack your town but it needs a lot of work.
