leaving albuquerque - 1/20/2006
Albuquerque is a beautiful place to visit and if you consider relocating there please consider the crime statistics.I lived there for over 13 years and left after my son was born. the crime is horrible and you cannot get away from it by living in the NE part of town. Crime is widespread and very violent. I stopped watching the local news when I lived there because I was tired of listening to the murder count! I do miss the weather and the terrain, but I do not miss going to sleep to the sound of gun fire every night!-NO JOKE!

low cost of living and bad weather - 1/20/2006
relocated here for work- the cost of living is quite low. its a very family friendly town with lots to do IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN. it seems quite conservative and not very diverse. people seem pretty frienldy at first. the summers are hot and humid and the winters are VERY cold. easy to get around town with very little traffic.
