I’ve proudly called Newport Beach my home for over 30 years and I love everything that this fabulous city has to offer. For the past 15 years, I have had the pleasure of living on Balboa Peninsula Point between the Balboa Pier and the ever popular surf area at the Wedge. The Peninsula is home to many Oceanfront and Bay front homes which is known for the 2 miles of boardwalk that lead you from Balboa Pier to the Newport Pier at McFadden Square. For an island adventure, you can rent a boat to explore 8 Newport Beach Islands or navigate your personal watercraft through the Newport Harbor to the Pacific Ocean – where you’re just 26 miles from Santa Catalina Island. You can also connect by car or pedestrian from the Peninsula via ferry boat from Balboa Village at the Fun Zone over to the ever-popular Balboa Island where there are even more charming cottages, boutique shops and dining destinations to explore and enjoy.
