4/25/2008your absolutely right! I've been here 10 years and I'm leaving early next year! I drive through terrible traffic daily to work down in Sarasota because the jobs here in Bradenton don't pay enough to cover Bradenton rent! My kids can't step out the door without me in fear they'll be snatched, and woe to anyone who forgets to lock your doors or leave something on your back porch! Even if your smart enough to lock up the car, you can't be sure it will have the plate on it in the a.m.! Oh, and be sure to carry a can of mace along if you need to stop at the Pharmacy because you'll probably witness a robbery or get mugged yourself! Adios B-town!

not so bad -
4/25/2008yes the city is dead! Full of brown buildings, brown water, brown dead trees, and the forecast never changes-(50 degrees and overcast). The good news about Johnstown though, the cost of living! I plan to move my family back next year, after 10 years in Bradenton/Sarasota FL. This place beats PA hands down in every category except cost of living and crime! The family wins, so goodbye sun, Johnstown here we come.

4/25/2008It's beautiful down here, but the crime is awful, and it costs an arm and a leg to rent a roach infested apartment! The weathers great though!
