I live in Cottonwood with my husband who works in the medical industry. We have 2 dogs, 11 cats and 18 laying hens. My 15 year old grand-daughter lives with us also. I am a former State of California employee, the Department of Developmental Services. I have a Real Estate License. My children are grown and live in Southern California. I have 3 Step-children who live in England. and 6 Grandchildren in England. I have been unable to find appropriate work in the area, so am a housewife.

A Quiet Place to Live - 5/4/2009
I have lived in Cottonwood for the past 7 years, relocating from Southern California. It is a beautiful place to live. A bit isolated in many ways. In order to get reasonable air line flights, one needs to drive to Sacramento.
All the major shopping is located in Redding. I love my little plot of land and the peace and quiet I can have.
